As we are a small team of 2 people, we would prefer for someone with 3 years' experience or hold a relevant NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification.
Having someone who is best fit for the business is very important to us. We are seeking someone who is able to communicate effectively within our team.
We are open 6 days a week and will require people who are able to start at 4.00am Tuesday to Friday and 5.00am Saturday and Sunday.
Full-time permanent role available.$25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on level of experience.
Tasks Include but is not limited to:
- prepares, seasons and cooks food in a dining or catering establishment
- regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- preparing and cooking food
- seasoning food during cooking
- portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
- preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- may plan menus and estimate food requirements
- may train other kitchen staff and apprentices
- Prepare and cook food, and may also wash dishes and clean the kitchen area
- Ordering and control of stock levels
- may be required to provide backup to other employees
You are required to organise your own transportation to and from work.
