Marketing Assistant in house role in a growing agri-business

Pastoral Improvements is a 100% NZ-owned agricultural company based in Rolleston, specializing in high-diversity seed mixes and natural soil nutrition products for farmers, orchardists, and land managers across New Zealand. We’re looking for a creative, motivated Marketing Assistant to help us continue sharing our story and products with the rural community.

About the Role

This a permanent part-time position (approx. 2 half days per week) will support our marketing activities across digital and traditional channels.

• Managing and scheduling social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Creating and sending newsletters via Mailchimp
• Assisting with content creation — articles, adverts, product highlights, and farmer stories
• Helping coordinate events, field days, and promotional activities
• Liaising with printers and publications for print advertising and brochures
• Updating marketing materials and databases as required
• Assisting with Product Development and marketing plans

About You

• Has experience with social media marketing and Mailchimp
• Is creative, organized, and confident with written communication
• Enjoys working independently and has strong attention to detail
• Brings initiative and can manage small projects from concept to completion

(Bonus) Has experience or interest in agriculture, horticulture, or rural marketing
