About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our stable Auckland service team, where you’ll join a stable business and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working within a close-knit, supportive team as part of a large organisation.

This is a diverse leadership role which will see you leading Auckland’s team of Field Service and Workshop Managers and reporting to the Branch Manager. You’ll support the team across the Auckland region (including Northland) to perform their roles to the best of their abilities and gain the most out of their teams, making it a be a great place to work.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll effect the achievement of Auckland’s annual financial and operational service targets to profitably grow the business, including driving PMP completion and proactively engaging with our customers to ensure that we are exceeding their expectations across quality of service, response times and product performance, making us the first choice of our customer.

As Auckland’s Service Manager, you’ll be required to proactively manage the productivity and resourcing of the team across the Auckland region and work closely with the Sales and Rental teams to ensure that we are focused on customer retention and satisfaction across the region.

The key to this role is leadership, mentoring & coaching, and being focused on building a high-performing and collaborative team!

Requirements

About you

Ideally, we’re looking for candidates with proven experience in a Service Manager (or equivalent senior service leadership) role and a minimum of 3-5 years’ leadership experience, preferably with a background in the Material Handling Equipment industry or Auto or Mechanical industry or trade qualification (or similar overseas qualification).

Preference will be given to suitable local candidates.

To really shine in this role, you'll bring your customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude, as you support your team and our valued customers with service they can trust. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be one of your strengths.

You'll be experienced in leading high-performing teams and your ability to build teams and a collaborative team environment is essential.
