Location: Massey University Manawatu Campus, Palmerston NorthHours: 37.5 hours per week
Tenure: Permanent, full-time
Join our dedicated CampusCare team and play a key role in delivering operational services that contribute to a safe, efficient, and welcoming campus environment at Massey University.
This role has a primary focus on security, parking, and traffic management, while also supporting broader CampusCare services such as waste management, portering, mailroom operations, room set-ups, and event support.
**About the role**
As a CampusCare Assistant - Security, you will:
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to maintain campus safety and security
- Monitor and respond to alarms and CCTV systems
- Assist with parking enforcement and traffic compliance
- Support room setups, events, and general operational services
- Engage professionally with students, staff, and visitors to promote a safe and positive campus experience
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and service excellence
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors and on foot across varied terrain
- Excellent communication skills with a respectful, customer-focused approach
- A full, clean New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence
- A current Certificate of Approval (COA), or willingness to obtain one

The salary range for this role is **$50,960 - $67,551**, depending on skills and experience.
