About the role
As a Level 4 Caregiver at Alden, you'll deliver high-quality personal care and support residents' wellbeing in a warm and respectful environment. You'll work closely with nursing staff and the wider care team to maintain smooth, safe, and culturally responsive care throughout your shift.

This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week. As we provide care 24/7, flexibility to work across mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide personal care with respect, dignity, and compassion

- Observe and report changes in resident health and behaviour
- Maintain a safe, clean, and culturally responsive environment, upholding Tikanga Maori practices

Skills & experience
NZQA Level 4 Health & Wellbeing qualification (essential)- Experience in aged care, preferably as a senior or shift lead caregiver
- Strong understanding of Health & Disability Sector Standards
- Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
- A genuine passion for enhancing residents' quality of life
- Ability to work a rotating roster including evenings and weekends
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (we are unable to provide visa support for this role)
