We’re looking for a Site Lead to take ownership of our Otaki campus, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong learner outcomes, and a well-supported tutor team.This permanent role is currently based in Otaki and will transition to Lower Hutt in 2027, offering a great opportunity for someone who’s keen to be part of the site’s growth and evolution.
Job Description
About the role:
This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a strong coordination, office management or programme support background who is ready to step up into a broader operational leadership role, while still staying close to the day-to-day running of the site.
This role blends operational leadership with hands-on coordination. You’ll be responsible for ensuring high-quality programme delivery, efficient site operations, and a consistent, engaging learner experience. As the on-site lead, you’ll connect tutors, learners and support teams, keeping everything running smoothly, compliantly, and on track.
You’ll also take a very hands-on approach to coordination - managing scheduling, supporting tutors, ensuring learners are prepared, and keeping communication flowing across apprentices, tutors and training advisors.

Key responsibilities- Lead day-to-day site operations and performance
- Coordinate timetables, scheduling and programme delivery
- Support tutors, ensuring alignment and performance
- Oversee site administration, reporting and data accuracy
- Manage learner experience, communication and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance, health & safety and quality standards
- Manage site resources, facilities and external vendors
- Experience in site management, coordination or operations
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with systems, CRMs or scheduling tools
- Confident communicator across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in education or trades environment is advantageous
