Customer Service Coordinator
Do you have sales and administration experience and enjoy engaging with customers? We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Timber Sales team and launch your career. You will need to be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will provide support to the Sales team to ensure a high level of customer service for our customers.
Tumu Timbers Ltd is a progressive, locally owned Hawkes Bay timber processing business. Our team culture is positive and enthusiastic with an emphasis on H&S, quality, and customer service.
You will be responsible for:
- Receiving and processing customer orders
- Coordinating inwards and outwards deliveries
- Working with transport providers to achieve customer expectations
- Preparing despatch documentation
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Maintaining client accounts and relationships
Ideally you will have:
- Proven customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills and phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of administrative duties.
- Computer literacy; specifically, with Microsoft Excel
- The confidence to communicate with a variety of customers.
- Despatch and/or trade sales experience (preferred but not essential)
- Relevant timber or horticultural industry experience (preferred but not essential)
