Fuel Delivery Driver - Class 2 - Flexi Part Time

We are seeking a dedicated Fuel Delivery Driver - Class 2 to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury. This part-time (flexi hours), permanent role is essential for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of fuel to our plant and equipment. As a key player in our transport operations, you will contribute to maintaining our high standards of service and reliability in the transport and rail industry.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 fuel delivery vehicle in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Deliver fuel to various locations, ensuring accurate and timely service.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with site-based operators regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Willingness to complete additional truck work as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum valid Class 2 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement
• Intermediate level experience in driving and fuel delivery.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
