Office Manager Position

Hobbs & Banks Ltd is a rural based transport, contracting and shingle supply company, that is located in the Orari area of South Canterbury.

A rare opportunity has become available for an Office Manager to join our team. This is a diverse role, including but not limited to: financial, administrative, health and safety, and operational functions. If you are reliable and detail-oriented, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities: Processing accounts payable and receivable

Payroll, and HR requirements
GST/Tax and financial reporting
All NZTA requirements, vehicle permits, RUC etc
Teletrac Navman requirements
Reception and customer queries
H&S administration, incident logs, inductions, PPE and equipment tracking
Managing office supplies, documents, and general administration
Vehicle fleet administration

Operation of a public weighbridge

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills;
Experience in a transport based accounts or office administration role
Knowledge and experience of Empower, Freightman, IMS, MS office
Strong organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
