We are looking for an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our busy service department and ensure operational excellence.In both our Branches in Nelson and Richmond
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing workshop operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving performance and profitability.
About the Role
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for:- Managing daily workshop operations
- Leading and motivating technicians and service advisors
- Ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Overseeing job allocation, quality control, and turnaround times
- Monitoring KPIs, labour sales, and department profitability
- Handling escalated customer concerns professionally
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
About You
The ideal candidate will have:- Proven experience in automotive service management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service ability
- Solid understanding of workshop processes and manufacturer standards
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A full, clean driver’s licence
