Marlborough’s largest tour operator, Marlborough Tour Company, have positions based at Punga Cove Resort and Furneaux Lodge. Due to our remote location, applicants must live onsite and be available from 1st September.

Punga Cove and Furneaux Lodge are a direct boat ride out from Picton and located right on the Queen Charlotte Track - being a popular stop for walkers, mountain bikers and local boaties. Accessible mostly by boat, we pride ourselves on being a unique offering nestled on the Queen Charlotte Track.

We are looking for an energetic Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen teams. Our menus are based around seasonal produce, showcasing the fantastic artisan products produced locally in Marlborough. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs, learn from the best and contribute to creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests.

Couples are most welcome to apply - if your partner has hospitality experience then we would love to hear from them also. Due to room configuration, the accommodation is not suitable for families.
About You - Ko nga wheako ou
Being a team player is the key to the success of these roles. A high level of English is paramount for good communication in a busy kitchen environment. Respecting others, good listening skills and work ethics and being able to work across different locations, as and when required.
We are only hiring candidates that have the minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and have the right to live and work in New Zealand. Sponsorship opportunities will not exist.
