Queenstown - 2IC Drainlayer

• $35 - $45 per hour (depending on experience)

We're looking for a 2IC Drain Layer with hands-on experience and a proactive attitude. You'll be involved in major infrastructure and civil projects, working alongside a supportive, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a range of equipment including diggers, compactors, and small plant
• Read plans, coordinate materials, and manage timelines
• Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems
• Lead a small on-site team effectively
• Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and suppliers
• Assist with monthly claim documentation

What We're Looking For:

• Registered Drain Layer or Reticulation Serviceperson qualification
• Minimum 2 years' experience in civil construction (preferably water, wastewater, and stormwater)
• Experience operating plant machinery.
• WTR endorsements required
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Ability to pass all pre-employment checks
