ABOUT THE ROLE:As a Drainlayer/Drainage operator; the role will include carrying out a variety of tasks:
- Infrastructure installation tasks for water treatment equipment and facilities to wastewater pump stations, treatment systems, and everything in between.
- Installing storm water and sewer pipelines, as well as pressure and gravity infrastructure, for both public and private sector projects.
- Operating machinery such as excavators, loaders, and trucks .
- General labor duties and assisting with other tasks as required.
- PE welding, confined space entries, telecom and power utility installations, concrete work, occasional landscaping—the list goes on.
- Being part of a successful team delivering high-quality workmanship, while learning valuable skills that will serve you anywhere within the construction industry.
We are also looking for a labourer to join our drainage team with the desire to learn and upskill.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING- Experience with excavators, loaders, and compaction equipment is an advantage
- A flexible, adaptable, and have a strong work ethic
- A safety-first mindset
- Be a NZ Citizen, Resident or hold a current NZ Work Visa
- Competitive hourly rate – above national average
