Pronto Hire is a growing heavy machinery rental company in Auckland dedicated to help the construction activity industry ‘drive their projects forward’. Primarily helping contractors, civil companies, builders and farmers; we have a large fleet of modern construction and earthmoving equipment including excavators, rollers, loaders, bulldozers, dumpers, tipper trucks and more.We have two branches: 86 Forge Road Silverdale and 34 Goatley Road Warkworth.
This is a fast-paced fun role for those who are interested in learning about heavy earthmoving machinery, offering the chance to get to know a large variety of machines up close, and how to safely operate them and assist with customers and truckies collecting/delivering these machines.
Your primary roles will be- Assisting customers collecting and returning machines
- Fueling and preparing machines
- Ute deliveries of machines on trailers
- Reporting any damage or deficiencies
- Collating machines and attachments ready for truck collection
- Assisting in preparing machines for hire
- Helping to keep the yard clean and tidy.
- Be mechanically minded with a keen interest in learning about heavy machines.
- Willingness to be trained to safely operate the machines in the yard environment.
- Systematic with attention to detail.
- Confident with technology and phone apps to record details.
- Physically fit and energetic
- Good people skills as you will be interacting with customers
- Good standard of personal presentation.
- Class 1 license.
- Enjoy working in all-weather conditions as is mainly an outdoor role.
- Committed to upholding our health and safety policies.
This is a Monday to Friday 6.30am to 5.30pm position with possibility of some Saturday work.
