ECE Centre Cook

The hours of the cook position is between 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. As the centre cook, you will be preparing and cooking nutritious and delicious meals using the guidance and menu provided by our menu planning programme. Ensure the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes are carried out according to the policies, procedures and recipes.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be able to carry out stock checks weekly to take note of the stock level.
• Order groceries and other products to meet menu requirements (shopping lists will be provided) and

• Be familiar with the children’s dietary requirements and cater for their needs.
• Be able to carry out other daily responsibilities including kitchen cleaning, dish washing, meal recording etc.
• Maintain a tidy environment and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain effective communication with the teaching team and be able to deal with situations when they arise.

• Have your own vehicle for transportation
