Job overview

A QS plays a crucial role in the financial and contractual management of construction projects. We are looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team with an eye for detail and strong sense of responsibility follow-through and independence??

• Preparing and reviewing estimates, tenders and cost plans
• Monitoring project costs and margins
• Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors and consultants
• Collate project variation and ensure accurate cost reporting
• Manage several jobs
• Purchase order management

• Skills in reading and understanding drawings, take off preparation and job pricing.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (or working towards one)
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound construction knowledge
• Computer/software skills
• Experience in Ravebuild an advantage
• Ability to multitask and jump between projects as required
• Must have experience in the construction industry
