We’re on the lookout for Industrial Painters to join a busy engineering crew working across multiple sites in Whakatu, Hastings.You need to be physically fit to keep up with the demanding role.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in a specialised industry, with ongoing work and the chance to grow your skills.
Location: Whakatu, HastingsStart date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $32 per hour (weekly pay)
What you’ll be doing:
- Surface preparation
- Grinding and sanding
- Applying primers and coatings
- Spray, roller, and brush work
- Working in workshop and on-site environments
- Following job specs and quality procedures
- Supporting fabrication and installation teams
- Working safely across active industrial and construction sites
What we’re looking for:
- Painting experience (industrial or related preferred)
- Knowledge of spray, roller, and brush application
- Physically Fit requirement - the role is demanding
- Ability to follow instructions and job specifications
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Full driver’s licence
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good communication and ability to work in a team
