You will be working in a supportive Allied Health LeadershipTeam allowing you to grow and develop your operational leadership skills. Ifyou are looking for career development, then this is the role for you.As an Allied Health Team Manageryou will provide day to day leadership, operational management and planning forthe Allied Health team in the Central Locality (Greymouth), in order to delivera sustainable, high-quality service that contributes to the achievement oforganisational goals and development of the Rural Generalist Capability Framework.Also works with the Clinical Leaders to focus on workforce development, safeand high-quality care, outcomes focussed practice and integration that supportstrategic development and organisational priorities.

Options to lead a combination ofAllied Health staff from Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy or Dietetics,Speech Language Therapy, Social Work & Music Therapy. We are open todiscuss combining this role with a clinical or leadership role to increaseoverall FTE.About UsTe Tai o Poutini West Coast AlliedHealth Team in Greymouth consists of Allied Health Assistants, OccupationalTherapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech Language Therapists, SocialWorkers, a National Travel Assistance Coordinator, Child Development ServiceKaiarahi and Music Therapist.

The team covers all aspects of in-patients,out-patients and community settings, working within a Rural Generalist model ofcare. Smaller teams from professionssuch as Dietetics, Speech Language Therapy and Music therapy support ourcommunity throughout the West Coast (Karamea to Haast) travelling out to theseregions for clinics and community visits.
Other professional groups work withtheir colleagues based in the Northern Locality (Westport) and SouthernLocality (Hokitika) ensuring equity of services across the West Coast.AboutyouYou will bean experienced or developing leader with a minimum of five years clinicalexperience and hold a current New Zealand Registration and Annual PracticingCertificate with an Allied Health professional body.

You will have a passion tosupport, enable and develop our people to ensure we deliver high qualityresults for our patients in the rural setting. As an Operational Manager,you'll be resilient to change and able to have honest and courageousconversations to drive improvement and equitable outcomes for people,communicates and whānau we care for.Otherdesirable attributes include:Experiencemaking judgements in complex situations where there is incomplete informationor solutions are not obvious.Knowledge infinancial management and experience managing budgets appropriately.

Experience inquality /service improvement activities.
