The Role
As an apprentice, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines. You will be actively involved in the heart of our operations, learning to:
Master the Basics: Study and interpret complex engineering drawings.Precision Work: Measure, mark, and cut metals using advanced machinery.
Fabrication: Join components through professional welding techniques.
Maintenance: Keep the wheels turning by performing checks and repairs on essential equipment.
Accuracy: Use your eye for detail to ensure every part meets exact specifications.
What We’re Looking ForYou don't need to be an expert yet—that’s what the apprenticeship is for! However, we are looking for candidates who possess:
A Practical Mindset: You enjoy solving problems and working with your hands.The Right Foundation: NCEA Level 1 in English, Maths, Science, Graphics, and Workshop Technology.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy lifting and maintain steady hand-eye coordination.
Personal Qualities: You are safety-conscious, patient, and a great team player.

Entry Requirements
Successful completion of a relevant pre-apprenticeship engineering course is preferred, but not compulsory.A strong interest in metals, electronics, and mechanical systems.
