Senior Quantity Surveyor – Multiple Locations

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join reputable and growing construction teams delivering a range of exciting commercial, residential, and civil projects across Queenstown and Waikato.

This is an excellent opportunity for driven professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have strong New Zealand construction experience.

About the Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial and contractual management of projects from tender through to final account settlement.

You will work closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions

Contract administration and procurement management

Managing project financial reporting and forecasting

Assessing variations and progress claims

Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers

Monitoring project costs and ensuring profitability

Providing commercial advice and risk management support

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience within New Zealand

Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

Strong understanding of NZ construction contracts and legislation

Experience across commercial, residential, or civil construction projects

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and financial acumen

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Full New Zealand driver licence
