Armstrong Plumbing and Drainage | Tauranga, Bay of Plenty

Full-Time | Great Team | New Role with Real Impact

Looking for a role where you can take the reins and make things flow smoothly?

Armstrong Plumbing and Drainage, a well-established name in Tauranga, is on the lookout for a Project Manager to help us take our plumbing and drainage projects to the next level. This is a brand-new role, created because our Managing Director (who’s been juggling more hats than a circus act) needs a right-hand person to help keep projects running like clockwork.

About the Role:

You’ll be the key link between our director, our senior tradespeople, and our valued clients. Your mission: ensure every project flows from start to finish without a hitch.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Working closely with our Managing Director to keep projects on track
  • Liaising with senior tradesmen to coordinate daily tasks and updates
  • Visiting current job sites to monitor progress, quality, and safety
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are up to date and actively managed on-site
  • Pre-ordering gear and materials to keep teams well supplied
  • Keeping all paperwork and job documentation up to date — both on site and in the office
  • Reporting back regularly on job progress, timelines, and any hiccups
  • Handling general project management duties to ensure everything runs smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous plumbing and/or drainlaying experience? That’s a big plus.
  • Not a qualified plumber or drainlayer? If you’ve got solid industry-related project management experience, we’d still love to hear from you.
  • Great communication skills — you’ll be the go-between for the office, the site, and the boss.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail (we like things neat and tidy, even in the trenches).
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • A solid understanding of site health and safety requirements — and a commitment to keeping our teams safe and sound.
Why Join Armstrong Plumbing and Drainage?
  • Be part of a friendly, down-to-earth team that takes pride in quality work
  • Enjoy the variety — one day in the office, the next on-site
  • Step into a new role where you can shape the way things are done
  • Competitive pay and the chance to grow with us as we expand
  • Company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided — so you’re ready to hit the ground running
  • We’re currently building our brand-new offices in Papamoa, which we’ll be moving into early next year — so you’ll enjoy fresh new facilities and a great working environment
Ready to help us keep things flowing?

Apply today and let’s chat about how you can be the missing link in our growing team.
