- month Fixed Term Work in an environment that values your professional input Lead the Ministry's digital channels and design to optimise user experience About the Ministry for Regulation The Ministry for Regulation is a small government agency with a big job to do. We're here to make sure we have better regulations, which lead to better outcomes. We lead the regulatory management system (the set of policies, institutions, processes and tools employed by central government to pursue and maintain good quality regulation) and contribute to the design and operation of individual regulatory systems. We are a small group of dedicated professionals, working in a 'can do' environment. About the role Working alongside the Ministry's subject matter experts, you will lead the digital, design and channels work for the Ministry's Engagement team, developing clear project milestones, and creating accessible, user-friendly, content for the Ministry's digital platforms. About you We are looking for an individual who can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic digital environment and make an immediate impact. You should have established skills in web and social channel management, be confident with design tools, be adept at collaborating with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts, have a solid grasp of project management principles, and approach challenges with agility and a mindset for continuous improvement. If you're ready to dive in and take action, ideally with the ability to start right away, we'd love to hear from you. You will bring Experience delivering digital content and website management including creating and publishing content across various platforms to ensure relevance and engagement Ability to develop digital content strategy that aligns content planning with organisational goals and audience needs Website management expertise, with proven track record of successfully overseeing the maintenance and development of a website Experience and confidence in Social media management Creation, design and publishing of digital content that's visually effective and on-brand Media monitoring and analysis, including how to track media coverage and extract useful insights Strong stakeholder engagement managing digital engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders Proficiency with digital design tools Data-informed decision-making analysing the usage of digital platforms and transforming metrics into meaningful reporting and insights Commitment to accessibility and usability ensuring all content meets required standards, making it inclusive and user-friendly Vendor relationship management to ensure high-quality outputs and support Brand consistency maintaining visual identity and brand standards across all digital content and platforms Adaptable and agile communications support, ready to pitch in with general communications and engagement tasks as needed.
