The Opportunity
BGIS is expanding its self-delivery trades team in Christchurch and is seeking experienced a Flooring Installer to support a wide variety of flooring projects. From repairs and maintenance to full installations, this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and work as part of a professional, multi-trade crew.

Your RoleAs a Flooring Installer at BGIS, you’ll work across a diverse portfolio of sites, completing:
- Installation of various flooring types including vinyl, carpet, tiles, laminate, and timber
- Surface preparation, underlay installation, and floor levelling
- Flooring repairs, replacements, and patchwork
- Ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with safety standards and specifications
- Collaborating with other trades such as carpenters, painters, and project managers
- Completing job documentation and client handovers
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in flooring installation (residential and/or commercial)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Sound knowledge of tools, adhesives, and flooring products
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans or job specifications
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in a team
