Tow Truck Operator / Roadside Service Technician

Description – Full-time Permanent position
Kapiti Coast Towing is continually growing, so we are currently looking for full-time Tow Truck Operator/Roadside Service and Tyre Technician.
Our operation is 24/7 , the applicant will need to be available to work nights as well as weekends on a roster system.
The minimum criteria for this position is:
- A minimum of full class 2 licence.
- MUST reside in the wider Kapiti Coast area.
- Have NZ residency or valid work visa.
- Current V endorsement (Vehicle Recovery) would be an advantage, otherwise the ability to obtain a V endorsement is a requirement for employment.
- A clean drivers licence and NZ Police background check.
- Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing will be carried out.
- Basic level of mechanical knowledge would be an advantage however, a keen attitude and willingness to learn is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be punctual and reliable, practical thinker that can cope well under pressure and in unexpected situations.
The applicant must be a self-starter, hardworking and motivated.
