HVAC Service Technician WANTED!!

We are looking for skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technicians to join the Blizzard Crew.

We’re looking for a couple of confident Service Technicians who enjoy problem-solving, fault-finding and keeping customers’ systems running at their best.

This role is focused on servicing, diagnostics and maintenance across residential sites while keeping positive relationships with customers at the forefront.

Who You Are

You’re practical, reliable and comfortable working independently on site. You enjoy fault finding and take real pride in getting to the bottom of issues, not just applying quick fixes.

You’re also realistic about the nature of service work. You’re happy getting into roof spaces, under floors and other tight or awkward areas, and you’re not afraid of the “down and dirty” side of the job when it’s required.

You communicate well with customers and your team, and you represent Blizzard professionally on every site.

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on HVAC systems e.g multi split, highwalls, ducted systems
• Routine servicing and maintaining high wall and ducted heat pump systems
• Attending breakdowns and troubleshooting airflow, control and performance issues
• Working in roof spaces, crawl spaces and other confined or tight areas
• Liaising with our office and install teams to ensure jobs are completed to Blizzard standards
• Maintaining safe work practices at all times

• Prior experience in HVAC service, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.
• Proven experience working on high wall and ducted systems (essential)
• Proven experience working controls (essential) must be IT comptent
• Proven experience in dealing with manufacturer's technical support
• Proven experience in warranty productures with different manufactures
• A strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Strong experience in CRM
• A positive, hands on attitude, including working in tight and dirty environments when required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full clean driver’s licence
• NZ residency or valid work rights
• Verbal recent references required
• Fillers license and EST license required
