Motorcycle Technicians - Tokoroa

The Honda Shop group are seeking qualified and experienced Motorcycle Technicians to join their teams in Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Matamata and Putaruru.
Responsibilities:- Diagnosing and repairing of mechanical and electrical faults
- Dismantling engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms etc.
- Performing routine servicing of vehicles and power equipment
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs and services performed
- Accessing crash repairs for insurance purposes
- Ensuring all work complies with industry safety and quality standards
- Experience in a mechanical position
- A qualification in Automotive Engineering
- A passion for everything motorcycle
- Motivation to carry our reliable and thorough work in a timely manner
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Their own tools
- A full clean drivers licence / a class 6 motorcycle licence would be a bonus.

- Experience working on SXS, ATV, off-road, and road motorbikes, as well as Honda power equipment.
- Experience working on Husqvarna lawn care equipment at our Putaruru and Cambridge branches.

Across our five branches in Te Awamutu, Hamilton, Cambridge, Matamata and Putaruru, we sell and service the complete range of Honda Motorcycles - road, off-road, and farm. We also stock and service Honda power products - lawnmowers, stationary engines, pumps and the list goes on.
In addition to this Cambridge and Putaruru are Husqvarna lawn care centers, selling and servicing lawn tractors, mowers, chainsaws and Automowers.
These are a full time, permanent positions, 40 hours a week. Our locations are open from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Te Awamutu and Cambridge are open Saturdays from 9-12, Hamilton is open Saturdays from 9-2 so the successful candidates may be required to work Saturdays on a rostered basis.
