We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager. Someone with excellent work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile. The right candidate will be eager to work late nights, weekends and public holidays when required. ?Minimum 30 hours weekly, Permanent position.

Job Description:

The suitable candidate will undertake the following tasks:

• Managing the entire operations of the restaurant.
• Responsible for financial performance and the growth of the restaurant.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Developing a strong understanding of what drives and motivates your staff to increase performance & service standards.
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
• Maintaining a high level of H&S, Food Control Plan and Compliance.
• Plan menus in consultation with chefs.
• Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
• Plan roster for the staff.
• Driving Promotions & Marketing and Customer Engagement.

Requirements:

• Suitable applicant must have 3 years of work experience in hospitality or a Diploma at level 5 or higher in Business or Business Management.
• Applicants with direct work experience in restaurant or food industry preferable.
• Manager certificate and LCQ (liquor license) desirable.
• Must be flexible for shift work roster and must be able to work late nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skill.
• Due to the nature of our restaurant, having Italian language awareness/fluency and/or knowledge of Italian/Mediterranean culture and cuisine would be a plus.
