Warehouse Manager
Whangarei
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse and logistics operation, ensuring orders, stock, staff, installers, and deliveries all run smoothly and on time.
This role starts at 7:00am and requires someone who leads from the front, can make decisions quickly, and keeps everything moving.
Key Responsibilities:- Full management of warehouse operations
- Overseeing the retail trade store and customer interactions
- Stock control, purchasing, and inventory accuracy
- Managing warehouse staff, store staff, and coordinating installers
- Scheduling and overseeing deliveries and dispatch
- Forklift operation and supervision of safe loading/unloading
- Using and managing computer systems, CRMs, stock systems, and programs
- Liaising with suppliers and managing purchase orders
- Ensuring materials are prepared correctly and on time
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse
- Reporting on stock levels, shortages, and operational issues
- Improving systems, processes, and efficiency over time
- Cutting flooring materials accurately and efficiently, requiring fast learning and safe use of cutting machinery
