Nanny wanted in Kerikeri
Hi, I’m Kirsten Varley, manager for Karitane Nurses and Nannies and we are looking for an experienced kind, warm and nanny to support a family with their four children.
What the job involves:- Competitive rates based on experience and skill level
- Monday to Friday 7am-7pm with a break in the middle of the day
- Starting Mid March
The preferred hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm, with paid downtime in the middle of the day while the older children are at school and preschool, although the family is open to discussing a later start such as 11:00am to 7:00pm for the right candidate.
The role involves supporting the family with morning routines, school and preschool preparation and drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups, after-school activities, homework supervision, and assisting with the evening routine through to bedtime. Occasional care of the baby will be required while mum attends appointments or completes admin tasks.

They are looking for a kind, patient, energetic, and confident nanny with strong experience across multiple age groups, including newborns, who is open to relocating to Kerikeri if not already local.
The family values warmth, good manners, and mutual respect, leads an active lifestyle, and would ideally like a nanny who is also happy to travel with them domestically and internationally during school holidays.
When you work with Karitane we provide a supportive network of staff, available 24/7 to ensure you, and our families have all that you need. We have a legacy of providing excellent care and fantastic support to our nannies and offer ongoing training opportunities.
Beyond the qualifications and experience that we look for with all our nannies we look for personal qualities that are the key to a successful nanny relationship:- Respect
