Medical Receptionist

Ngongotaha Medical Centre is an innovative and rapidly growing General Practice and we are currently seeking a permanent part-time medical receptionist, 32 hours per week over 4 days, (Monday-Thursday) to join our dynamic and friendly team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will have exceptional communication skills, a vibrant personality and caring nature.
The successful candidate will be; • well presented- an excellent communicator, oral and written
- have proven customer service skills
- have experience as a medical receptionist or in a similarly demanding role
- be willing to develop and learn new skills
- be highly organized and efficient with an ability to prioritise and multitask
- have the ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- be highly motivated and able to work well in a team environment
- computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- have a basic understanding of the NZ Health System & challenges and is able to articulate and demonstrate pro-equity values.
- be available to cover annual and sick leave of other team members
Knowledge of Indici would be an advantage, but training and orientation will be provided to the successful applicant.
