Got the mechanical skills to keep production lines running at full throttle?
We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter who knows their way around complex machinery and can keep manufacturing operations humming. You’ll be the go-to person for fixing problems before they stop production, keeping equipment in top shape, and ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical faults across production equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and extend machinery life
- Rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems
- Carrying out MIG/TIG welding and fabrication is required
- Assisting with the installation, alignment, and setup of new machinery and production lines
- Working closely with the maintenance and production teams to plan and complete repairs with minimal disruption
- Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and following safety procedures at all times
What we’re looking for
-Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer or equivalent experience- Proven background in a manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
-Solid problem-solving skills – able to identify issues fast and find smart, practical fixes
-Confident with hands-on repairs, alignments, and preventative maintenance- Someone who takes pride in their workmanship, keeps safety front of mind, and brings a positive attitude to the job
