New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person with plenty of initiative to join our freight office team based at our South Auckland Branch in Wiri, Auckland. This is an entry level office position for a customer service-based role within the freight industry.A willingness to learn will be ideal for this position.
Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm Mon-Fri (No weekend work, 42.5 Hrs/week).Pay rate: $26.25 per hour, paid weekly.
Duties/Responsibilities include- Dealing and handling problem freight, striving for a ‘first call resolution’
- Responding to customer service alert queries
- Responding directly to our senders and receivers via phone or email
- Maintaining a relationship with drivers and staff in branch
- Assisting at the front counter with face-to-face interactions with customers
- Working in the depot during peak periods if required
- Be willing to learn, full training provided
- Have a tech-savvy mind and is fast at using computers
- Be comfortable working in both an office and depot environment
- Not be afraid to converse with customers in person and on the phone
- Have a fun or bubbly personality and enjoy working with a team
