Carpenter and Joiner - 2 positions available

This is a permanent, full-time role (minimum 30 hours per week) with opportunities for extra hours and overtime.

• Construct, install, repair, and finish wooden and metal structures including frameworks, fixtures, furniture, and other joinery work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings to determine project specifications.
• Operate machinery, power tools, and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood, composite materials, and fittings.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery products.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, and other tradespeople to deliver custom joinery solutions.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing structures as required.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience or a relevant qualification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Permanent employment with minimum 30 guaranteed hours per week.
• Pay rate: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience).
• Location: Invercargill, Southland, with occasional travel to job sites in the region.
