We're looking for a qualified Heavy Diesel Auto Electrician. Quattra Mechanical, a trusted family-owned business with over 25 years of excellence in customer service and high satisfaction, is offering an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team!
Your Role
As part of our friendly Truck Team based in our well-equipped workshop in East Tamaki, Auckland, you'll be responsible for delivering the day-to-day operations of the electrical team which will include the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring and electrical components on mostly Japanese model heavy fleet.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with the ability to work autonomously. Experience within the Heavy Automotive industry is essential as well as:- A National Certificate in Automotive Electrical Engineering – NZ based qualification
- Experience with commercial vehicles, plant & machinery and electronic AC systems
- In-depth knowledge of the NZ Road Transport industry
- Good communication and time-management
- A clean full Class 1 licence – HT licence ideal but not essential
- A strong focus on health and safety
- Experience with both heavy trucks and machinery
