The Role
You will be responsible for supporting and leading your own projects in the Manawatu area. Scope of work for this role includes mainly new commercial work but also includes other types of work based on your abilities.
Types of work we do includes Metal Roofing, Warm Roof Systems, Membrane Roofing, Kingspan, Tanking, Wall Cladding, Roof Logic and more. We can provide work for the types of skills and experience you have and/or want to grow.
We are looking for a capable and physically fit roofer who is:- Experienced tradesman/tradeswoman (ideally 3 years' relevant experience)
- Experience and adaptability to different types of roofing is an advantage
- Motivated to do quality work and provide a superior service to our clients
- Happy to work independently or share your skills and knowledge and able to lead a team
- Solution-focussed
- Punctual and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and dependability
- Full driver licence (when driving company vehicles)
Conversely you could be an experienced roofer or part of a team wanting to take the next step in your career or work within a team.
OR
If you are already a foreman you will have previous experience leading staff, managing projects and being the key point of contact for the specific project or projects you are leading and managing.
