Eastbridge Ltd is a privately owned Hawke’s Bay company employing approximately 100 staff and producing around 6,000 tonnes of fabricated steel annually. The majority of our work supports major transport infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Our core business is heavy steel fabrication, supported by on-site installation services across a wide range of infrastructure projects. We primarily deliver projects for NZTA roading works, KiwiRail, ports, and local councils, typically as a specialist subcontractor to New Zealand’s leading head contractors.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team.

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, requiring strong communication, organisational, commercial, and leadership skills.

You’ll need to be willing to get your gear on and get out amongst it in the workshop, yard, and site to co-ordinate with the trade teams. Our projects usually contain many individual physical parts and components that require careful management through the various production processes, so an attention to detail mindset is important.

  • Coordinating logistics and scheduling, including:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in steel fabrication and/or horizontal infrastructure projects
  • Strong project management capability across multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills

Candidates may come from:
  • The structural steel fabrication industry, or
  • A senior Site or Project Engineer background within the civil/infrastructure contracting sector
Additional Experience Beneficial

  • Design management for Design & Build contracts
  • Cost estimation, pricing, and tender preparation
  • Basic Drafting/CAD understanding
  • Contract administration and commercial management
