We're looking for an experienced Grader Operator to lead our Hawke's Bay roading crew.

About the Role:
- Operate grader to a high finish standard - subgrade, pavement layers, shape, crossfalls, batters
- Lead and coordinate the roading crew day-to-day
- Read and interpret plans, levels, and specifications
- Liaise with the Project Manager, surveyors, and subcontractors
- Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards
- Mentor junior operators and labourers
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience operating a grader toa high finish standard
- Solid roading background — pavement construction, subgrade prep, metaling
- Experience leading a roading crew
- Class 2 minimum (Class 4 and WTR preferred), plus relevant endorsements
- Ability to read plans and work to levels
- Strong communication and a no-nonsense approach to getting the job done safely
- Full NZ work rights
