Our client is a well-established company based in Tauriko, Tauranga, with a strong reputation in the market and a low staff turnover that has been around for over 25 years. They provide specialist services in automation systems and industrial and commercial electrics, supported by highly trained welding repair technicians.
About The role:- You will be working on a variety of tasks including diagnostics, installations, maintenance, and support of industrial electrical systems.
- New electrical installations/upgrades to existing electrical/control systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with industrial electrical equipment in industrial plants and hazardous areas.
- Performing maintenance and repairs on various electrical systems
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Providing technical support and guidance to team members
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work performed
- Full NZ Registration Certificate
- Current NZ Practicing Licence
- At least 4+ years industrial electrical experience in New Zealand
- Full current driver’s licence
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer skills and familiarity with simPRO management software
- Able to work to deadlines and manage priorities
- Attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously and in a team
- Able to build strong client relationships
- Self-motivated
- Health & Safety focused
- Willing to be on-call
- Experience in the industrial field or strong mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn
- NZ resident
