Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours, standard 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning & Preparation: Read and interpret roofing plans, measure accurately, and inspect materials before installation.
• Installation: Cut, prepare, and install roofing tiles and sheets to create a durable, waterproof surface.
• Finishing: Apply waterproofing, install ridge caps, flashings, and trims, and ensure a high-quality, secure finish.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, report incidents, and maintain a clean, organised worksite.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and installation methods (tiles, metal, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications for roofing projects.
• Familiarity with roofing tools (nail guns, hammers, ladders, scaffolding) and safe working practices.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods.
• A detail-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Have clean police report with no charges pending.
