About the Role

We - re looking for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Wellington Locality Operations Manager and Clinical Lead. This key role helps ensure our teams deliver high-quality, safe services that align with best practice and meet service needs.

You - ll be someone who builds strong working relationships with a range of people and takes pride in creating a positive, professional environment. You - ll play a central role in keeping things running smoothly and supporting others to do their best work.

In this position, you'll provide timely and accurate administrative support across the operational area and ensure the smooth flow of information across the Mental Health Addictions and Intellectual Disability Services (MHAIDS). You - ll also contribute to project work and take on additional tasks as needed, helping us stay flexible in a fast-changing environment.

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. The full salary range is $78,664 - $ 85,600.

About the Team

MHAIDS works across the Wairarapa and Capital, Coast Hutt Valley District, with multiple specialist facilities. We are a busy and diverse service made up of a mixture of clinical and non-clinical staff who are committed to providing a high-quality service to patients and visiting whanau.

While working closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Lead to provide direct support, you will also work collaboratively with other PAs/EAs within MHAIDS to ensure consistency of practice, and an equal distribution of workload amongst administration staff.

About you

Essential skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative role - ideally within the health industry
  • A relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in business administration and a full (clean) drivers licence
  • The ability to communicate clearly, work with integrity, and retain confidentiality
  • Advanced IT skills in finance systems, MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio, and calendar management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft executive reports
