We're Hiring: Butcher – Full Time

Are you passionate about quality meat and skilled in butchery? PAK'nSAVE Albany is looking for an experienced Butcher to join our hardworking and dedicated team.

About the Role: As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat to the highest standards, ensuring freshness, quality, and presentation for our customers. You'll work behind the scenes and occasionally front-of-house to provide great service and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and prepare a range of meat products for display and sale.
• Ensure all products meet food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions in the butchery department.
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge at the counter.
• Assist with stock control, rotation, and minimising waste.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous butchery experience (supermarket or retail preferred).
• Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and food safety practices.
• Reliable, motivated, and a strong team player.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting when required.

Days and Hours:

Thursday to Monday: 5.30am to 3pm
