Are you a retail or hospitality leader seeking adventure, purpose, and variety? We're looking for Store Managers to oversee store operations across remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland, Australia!
This role requires relocation to remote areas, where you'll manage stores in some of the most stunning and culturally rich parts of Australia. It's a unique chance to live differently, contribute meaningfully, and experience a side of the country few ever do.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of community stores
- Mentor and develop local team members, building skills and empowering communities
- Manage inventory, merchandising, cost control, and financials
- Uphold safety, hygiene, and compliance standards at all times
- Build strong relationships with local stakeholders and support community initiatives
- Support all operational tasks including stock handling, restocking, and checkout duties as needed
To be considered, you must have:
- New Zealand or Australian Citizenship required (OR full, unrestricted working rights in Australia) - this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
- Proven leadership experience in retail or hospitality, ideally in fast-paced, high-volume environments - FMCG experience is a must
- Flexibility and willingness to relocate and live full-time in remote communities
- Strong team leadership and coaching ability
- Budgeting and stock control experience
- Competency using retail systems (POS, stock, staff management)
- A current or willingness to obtain Certificate III in Retail and a Food Hygiene Certificate
- Current or eligible for an NT driver's licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable across cultures and communities
