Inward Manager - Logistic

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate planning of all inbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods from suppliers, co-packers, and transporters.
Ensure all incoming materials are verified against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans for correct quantity, SKU, batch number, and expiry date.
Conduct quality inspections for product condition, packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and temperature control as per FMCG standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure Maintenance of required cold chain or ambient conditions during unloading and storage; ensure temperature readings are recorded and deviations are escalated immediately.
Ensure recording all inbound transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)/ERP, ensuring real-time stock updates and documentation completeness.
Manage and document any shortages, damages, or quality rejections; coordinate with procurement, QA, and suppliers for resolution and corrective actions.
Lead and train warehouse staff on safe unloading, material handling, and storage practices in line with FMCG safety and hygiene standards.
Continuously review and improve inbound processes to reduce turnaround time, minimize errors, and improve space utilization.
Generate and analyze inbound performance reports—such as daily receipts, discrepancy trends, supplier delivery accuracy, and temperature compliance logs.

Ensure inbound documentation, stock records, and quality check logs are audit-ready and compliant with internal controls, FSSAI norms, and company SOPs.

This role is not for fresh graduates. It suits a confident professional with field work experience .
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management (FMCG preferred).
  • Strong background in FMCG, warehouse , logistic inventory systems, inbound coordination, and cold chain requirements
  • Proven ability to lead teams, coach for performance, and manage through ambiguity
  • Excellent time management, communication, organisation and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety standards.
  • A full NZ Driver’s License
