Partnering with HR, payroll, finance and business leaders to deliver as well as continuously improve position‑management processes, you will steer the people‑budget cycle, and provide expert advice that helps senior leaders make data‑driven talent decisions.In this Senior level role, you will also collaborate closely with payroll to guarantee seamless execution of workforce plans, and you will champion the adoption of best‑practice WFM processes across directorates, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and data‑focused planning.Ko wai koe – about youWe are looking for someone who enjoys being hands on while making improvements, with solid experience in position management, establishment management or workforce planning.You will bring along your: Experience in position management, establishment management and/or workforce planning.
Proficiency in Python or another programming language/tool for data extraction, analysis and automation e.g. R or PowerQuery. The ability to advise and influence managers and P&C colleagues on workforce management matters Understanding of how positions, budgets and payroll connect A track record of designing and embedding process improvements Comfort working with data and analytics to support decision-makingThe expected appointing range for this position is: $103,009 - $109,876.Before you applyWorking within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.You must: Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 yearsORHold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
