About the Role The Manager Sector Operations Support provides leadership and technical expertise to deliver quality data, product analysis, technical support, and reporting.The role leads Data Analysts and Product and Process Analysts, ensuring Sector Operations operates smoothly and provides reporting and analytics to our customersCreating a collaborative culture between teams for continuous delivery and secure, high‑quality outcomes.About the TeamThe team is responsible for implementing and supporting Te Whatu Ora priorities as part of Sector Operations, a core delivery function for the healthcare sector that manages agreements, payments, claims, and customer support while assisting health service providers, suppliers, and service users to ensure funding decisions are effectively carried out across the sector.About you To be successful in this role, you will bring:A relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification in a related field.Proven expertise in managing complex data ecosystems across multiple domains, with the ability to clearly explain data parameters and limitations to others.Solid knowledge and practical experience in applying the DevOps lifecycle.Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) reporting and strong capability with Microsoft desktop tools, including Excel, Access, Word, Visio, and Visual Basic.Advanced data analysis skills, with the ability to present and tailor complex information for diverse audiences.Demonstrated leadership experience working with both internal and external stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and inspire teams.The capability to apply strategies, policies, standards, and practices effectively to achieve group deliverables.Previous experience within the health technology environment (desirable).Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
