You will be based at Burwood Hospital where you will support our Physiotherapists and other Physiotherapy assistants with a variety of tasks including:Departmental duties such as cleaning/maintaining equipment and clinical spaces, checking and maintaining consumables and stockDelivering and set up of equipment across the hospitalSupervision of exercise programmes, including group workAssist the Physiotherapist with the delivery of one to one rehabilitation treatment Assist with the provision and supervision of Hydrotherapy programmesSalary
- $72,074 to $86, 719
- Based off the PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical collective agreement.

Previous experience with the Calderdale framework andService accreditation would be an advantage although full training will begiven.Strong inter-personal skills and a sound communicatorThe ability to follow direction to assist in the delivery of treatment and rehabilitation plans across Older Persons Health Basic computer skills essentialPrevious experience in a similar role with a good understanding of health, A qualification in any health field would be an advantageKnowledge of safe manual handling processesCompetency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth Full New Zealand drivers licence is essential with the ability to drive a manual carWorking for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
