We are seeking an engaging, motivated and customer focused COUPLE to lead the day-to-day operations at Athenree Hot Springs & Holiday Park, a leading holiday destination in the stunning Bay of Plenty region. As our Holiday Park Managers, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the park’s operations from reception and reservations to groundskeeping, cleaning, and general maintenance.
You'll manage and coordinate daily activities, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience while maintaining our beautiful park. We seeking an energetic, "hands-on" and adaptable couple, that can work in with our small and friendly team; above all you must be committed to excellent customer service.
Your Role & Impact
As managers, you will:
- Oversee daily park and hot pool operations and manage reception.
- Accurately manage and maintain guest booking information, finances and communications.
- Support and mentor a small team committed to genuine hospitality and exceptional service.
- Ensure our high standards of cleanliness of rooms, hot pool facilities, amenities, and park buildings are maintained at all times.
- Maintain our grounds (lawn mowing, hedge cutting, general landscaping, etc).
- Perform property maintenance repairs and scheduled maintenance.
- Handle waste management and recycling.
- Conduct night checks when rostered.
- Identify and rectify health & safety issues.
- Ideally, one or both applicants will bring experience in the following areas:
- Relevant experience in hospitality or holiday park management.
- Leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in property and ground maintenance.
- Ability to efficiently prioritise and manage projects and tasks.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, especially in managing booking and guest information.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Seekom reservation system preferred, training and support will be provided).
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
