IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE- We’re looking for an Assistant Park Maintenance Manager (You'll be working with our existing Maintenance Manager) to help keep our busy holiday park running smoothly
- at any one time we might have 250
- 350 guests staying, from holiday makers, through to sporting teams, school groups, international and domestic travelers travelling for work or leisure.

About the Role:This is a live-in position (not-negotiable) with a 1-bedroom small staff house provided, including free rent, power and Wi-Fi. If you're unable to live on-site then we're not a match. We run a 10 days on / 4 days off roster, with 7 days on-call per cycle for guest support (think lost keys, lockouts, portable heater to replace, can't get the TV going, late night guest to book in etc.). Work hours 8.00 am - 5.00 pm
Your day-to-day might include:
General building and repair work
Fixing doors, windows, and latches
Basic plumbing and minor electrical tasks
Re-painting a cabin interior
Gardening, mowing, and landscaping
Keeping the park safe, tidy and guest-ready
Daily rubbish round clearance and trip to the (nearby) refuse centre)
About You: Experience in general maintenance / handyman work
Physically fit and practical with a sense of fun and enthusiasm
A team player with good communication skills, able to connect with a diverse range of staff and guests
Friendly and approachable – you’ll interact with guests and other holiday park staff daily
Clean NZ driver’s licence
Available to start ASAP (but we'll wait for the right candidate if you can't start straight away)
Open to drug & alcohol testing if required
After-Hours Support: As part of the on-call duties, you’ll also be trained to handle basic bookings on our reservations system.
We do get last-minute guests arriving late, and being able to book a room for the night is part of the job. Basic computer skills (or a willingness to learn) are a big plus!
