Support Worker - Westwood Stables - Christchurch

We are looking for a full-time Support Worker for our services in West Melton. In this specific role, Support Worker will support and assist our people with activities around horses.
Shift available - Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
What's the role about? - He aha te mahi?- Grooming horses, warming them up for riders, helping people to mount and dismount, leading or supporting while on rides
- Mucking out and feeding horses
- Personal cares/support of people attending to ride or spend day at stables
- Grounds maintenance, meds, notes, etc
- Earn competitive pay rates between $23.50 up to $29.10 per hour
- Earn while you learn with free training towards NZQA Health and Wellbeing

We're looking for people with the following skills - Pukenga e hiahiatia ana:
- Confident and competent riding and ground skills
- Desire to work with and support people in a riding environment willing to do personal cares (support with toileting) as required
