Operations Manager

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead landscaping and property maintenance crews for a growing Waikato business.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily operations, support staff, coordinate projects, manage equipment, and help drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support multiple crews
  • Coordinate daily operations and scheduling
  • Monitor productivity and job quality
  • Oversee vehicles, machinery, and equipment
  • Promote strong Health & Safety practices
  • Work alongside crews when required
  • Improve systems and operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
  • Landscaping, horticulture, or property maintenance experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience managing teams and workloads
  • Commercial machinery operating experience
  • Full NZ Driver Licence
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety
Advantageous
  • Landscaping or horticultural qualifications
  • Class 2 Licence
  • Growsafe, First Aid, or Chainsaw certifications
  • Experience with job management software
